The sins of Sodom and Gomorrah was not some of the people engaging in homosexuality but RAPE, inhospitality, hatred of strangers and making slaves of guests.

I put my faith and trust in not only the Wisdom of Solomon, the Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Zephaniah but especially and specifically in Christ who said,

Wisdom 19:13

¶13  the sin of Sodom was a "bitter hatred of strangers" and "making slaves of guests who were benefactors."

Isaiah 1:9-10

 9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, [and] we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

 10 ¶ Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

Jeremiah 23:14

  14 I have see also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing:  they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of the evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

Ezekiel 16:49-50

  49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness (sic) of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Rape, inhospitality, pride, more than enough idle time on their hands and enough to eat but they cared not for thed poor and needy. Does this remind you of the 20th Century?

Zephaniah 2:8-11

¶8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings (sic) of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.

¶9 Therefore, as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, ands the remnant of my people shall possess them.

¶10 This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.

¶11 The Lord will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

Matthew 10:5-15

¶5 These twelve Jesus sent forth and commanded them saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

¶6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

¶7 And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

¶8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

¶9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

¶10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

¶11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

¶12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.

¶13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace be upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

¶14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

¶15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha  (sic) in the day of judgment, then for that city.

I WILL PUT MY FAITH AND TRUST IN THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON, THE PROPHETS ISAIAH, JEREMIAH, EZEKIEL, ZEPHANIAH, AND IN CHRIST HIMSELF not in Satan and his minions the 20th Century Faith Merchants, the 20th Century Antichrists who teach for doctrine of God, the commandments of men!
 

Christ even attested that the story of Sodom and Gomorrah at that time was and would be in our day be perverted and misunderstood for financial gain,

Matthew 22:36-40

  36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?

   37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

 38 This is the first and great commandment.

 39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour (sic) as thyself.

 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Read Verse 40 again.

“ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAWS AND THE PROPHETS,” which is to say that ALL THE LAWS and ALL THE PROPHETS since the beginning of time were given to man for the expressed purpose of teaching and getting man to adhere to these two commandments only! All other verbiage is simply commentary, some of which are the nothing more than commandments of men he teaches for doctrines of God for some of Satan’s gold!
 

Again, “ON THESE TWO (2) -- not 10, 12 or 613 but 2 -- HANG (rest the purpose of) EVERY LAW AND EVERY PROPHET.” Or in other words, “If you have or hear other commandments or laws, they are the commandments of men, your Professional Faith Merchants, who teach for My doctrine, commandments of men!
 

 The sad irony with Sodom and Gomorrah when viewed in its true context is people oppose, beat and murder those men and women who engage in or they think engage in homosexuality only because they are different, odd, strange, queer, effeminate, sissy and have the courage to reach out and grasp a freedom that is their right under the Constitution of the United States.

Lesbian and gay men are not allowed to assimilate into society. They are  made the outsiders, foreigners, outcasts, psychotics and criminals in their own society for having the courage to reach out and dare to be different! They are disowned by their families, forcibly separated and kept distant from their children, fired from their jobs, evicted from their apartments, slandered by their public officials and figures, beaten in the streets and killed at random like vermin. All of which is done in the name of Christianity and Judeo-Christian morality. However, such oppression is the very sin of which the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were guilty and for which the cities and inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Such behavior is exactly what the Bible strongly condemns repeatedly. Therefore, those who are intolerant and oppress those they perceive as homosexuals because of their misunderstanding of the "sins of Sodom and Gomorrah" are themselves guilty of the very sin and crime for which Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. More terrible will be their fate in the end!
