Founded in 1974 as a non-profit corporation, the Sunstone Foundationpublishes Sunstone magazine and sponsors symposiums across the Untied Statesto further independent discussion of Mormon experience, scholarship, issues,and art. The foundation also occasionally publishes books, including CalvinGrondahl's Freeway to Perfection , Faith Promoting Rumors, and Sunday'sFoyer . The foundation is governed by a rotating board of trustees. Donationsto the Sunstone Foundation are tax exempt. Sunstone is published eighttimes a year by the Sunstone Foundation. An eight issue subscription (USor foreign surface) is $32, $59 for sixteen issues, or $83 for twenty-fourissues. International air mail subscriptions are $64 for eight issues,$123 for sixteen issues, and $179 for twenty-four issues. Bona fide studentand missionary subscriptions are $10 less than the above rates. Note: Sunstoneis now available in most Barnes and Noble
