DID YOU CHOOSE TO BE STRAIGHT OR GAY?

Conventional wisdom and testimony say, NO!

THE WORD OF GOD ALSO SAYS, “NO!”

I’ve tried to explain my thoughts in this regard by first taking the normal front ended route logically building stone upon stone, brick upon brick and step upon step until, through a series of reasoning supporting why I think we do, the reader arrives at a reasonable logical conclusion. However, I think I send too much energy in supporting my position and not enough time explaining the thinking of God. I hope this time, I will do a better job in going from the position of God to man's thinking..

Do we choose to be gay or straight?

That depends on whether you are talking about a verb or a noun! Most of the arguments I hear, the opponents are not defining which they are talking about!

First, I wish to avoid the pitfalls abundantly evident in the discussions and arguments to date. I will define my terms. (See GLOSSARY of CORRECTED TERMS)

Speaking in terms of Gay or Gai being noun, God revealed that He did not create heterosexuals, bisexuals and homosexual but one man each with his own individual characteristics, capable of loving and being loved! As such, there are no heterosexuals nor homosexuals. That is a particular condition engaged in at a particular point in time. Everybody is bisexual of gai with his or her own unique, individual personality and characteristics.

As far as Gai or Gay being a verb, my answer was a resounding, “I hope so! I sure as hell hope no one is forced!”

This is not to diminish the fact that scientist, not associated with the fanatical religious fundamentalists say we are born the way we are. For those interested more in the thinking of God verses the hatred of man, I might also add that God says so Himself.

God said in affect, he didn’t create heterosexual nor homosexual but one bisexual man with his own unique personality and characteristics capable of loving and being loved. That’s as much to say, you were born the way you are, attracted to a member of either gender but you can change your behavior any time you want or be changed. To change a person against his will, by intense indoctrination or with only tacit approval is the same thing as rape which is against the Laws of God.

A person can change or alter his or her behavior, but he or she will never be able to change his or her nature. It is societies job and responsibility to become educated and be supportive of all of God’s children, e.g. your spiritual brothers and sisters!

THAT IS ALSO CHRIST'S COMMANDMENT, e.g. THE SECOND GREAT COMMANDMENT OF GOD!

Matthew 22:36-40

36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour (sic) as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Read Verse 40 again. “On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets,” which is to say that ALL THE LAWS and ALL THE PROPHETS since the beginning of time were given to man for the expressed purpose of teaching and getting man to adhere to these two commandments only! All other verbiage is simply commentary, some of which are the commandments of men he teaches for doctrines of God!

Without obeying the second commandment of God, you are violating the first Great Commandments, i.e. the individual does not love God but shows his disdain for God.

1 John 4:20

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth (sic) his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth (sic) not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

You show your true love of God when you show love for all of God's creation!
