Does Christ misquote Jeremiah?

Matthew 27:9-10 reads,

Then was fulfilled what had been said through Jeremiah the prophet, "And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of a man with a price on his head, a price set by some of the Israelites, and they paid it out for the potter's field just as the Lord had commanded me."

There is no such passage in Jeremiah.

Did Christ misquote Jeremiah?

Who would know better what Jehovah revealed to Jeremiah, than Jehovah?

This is a thorn in the side of and added proof to the Infallibly Translated Literalists (ITL) that the Bible IS NOT AND WAS NOT INFALLIBLY TRANSLATED nor is it the exact word of God. That is dogma of Satan! He wants man to rregard the Bible with all its errors and mistranslations as in fact "infallibly translated" that way, his job and evil designs are two-thirds of way to being accomplished

It is more likely that, that text of Jeremiah's was either not found, discarded or mistranslated!

No one has a copy of the original Bible text. The Bible was translated thousands of times by thousands of people with their own agenda. Case in point: The Catholic Church's compilation and discard of some records. Then there was the pagan Roman Emperor and first Pope of the Catholic Church, King Constantine's contribution in which he issued a death threat that the monks to "reflect [his] scientific truth -- that homosexuality causes earthquakes -- in their translations." To think the Bible contains all of what God revealed and as God revealed it to man is extremely naive and limits God's power.

The Catholic Vulgate Bible has 7 or 12 more texts to their bible than other Christians. Are they guilty of "adding to the Bible" or are you and other Christians guilty of taking away from the Bible.

The Greek Orthodox Septuagint and New Testament Bible has 26 more books than other Christians! The fact is, not even the Catholics have all the scriptures.  Are they guilty of "adding to the Bible" or are you and other Christians guilty of taking away from the Bible.

There are 10 texts referenced in the Old Testament which do not even exist! That is indeed very strange if the Bible is the "infallible Word of God." Don't we need those other 10 Books? Who has the right to make that decision? You?

That is 43 to 48 Books some Christians are missing! That's 65 to 73%  as much more as the Christians current Bible that was thrown away or not found! There are only 66 Books in the current KJV, NIV, NASB, Darby, RSV, YLT versions. That means that for a book that is the "infallible word of God," most Christians are missing from 39% to 44% of the Bible.

Oh! I get it. You say, 'Those books don't contain anything important!' Who are you to make that decision? Who was the pagan Catholic Church, "The Great and Abominable Whore of the Earth" to have made that decision. Are you willing to build your theology and stake your life on only 60% of the truth?

Were the ancient Israelites the only people to who God spoke to through His Prophets?

Why are many of the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha contained in the New Testament? The Buddhist believe that Christ went to India and/or China and under Buddhist monks! Christians believe this is blasphemous.

If what God said IS TRUE, e.g. He created the earth and every living creature thereon, and what He said about loving ALL his children, wouldn't God love the Chinese and Indian the same as he loved the Israelis?

If there is a God and He spoke to the Israelis, wouldn't it stand to reason that He loves all his children the same?

SAY IT LOUDER!

You say, "God didn't love the Chinese or Indians the same as He loved the Israelis?

If that is your belief, "You God is a Liar!"

Saulist Christians SHOULD believe in the writings of that 15 year old, pagan, Gentile Luke. Luke wrote in Acts, supposedly quoting Peter,

Acts 10:34

 34 ¶ Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

However, in the 20th Century Born-Again Christian theology, God respects only the Israelites and has no need for his other children in India, China or Africa!

If you had a perfect and complete Bible and it contained everything that God revealed to His many Prophets the world over, you would definitively know the answers to many, many questions and you would not have to live by faith. That was The Son of the Morning's, Lucifer's or Satan's Plan for which there was a war in heaven, he and a third of our brothers and sisters, in the spirit, were cast out and condemned to come to earth as spirits to be the deceivers of man!

God has spoken to all His children through Prophets and tried to instruct His children in  the proper way to live this live, making the best of it, maximizing our potential and experience here on earth.

Christ did not lie or misquote Jeremiah. The text in Jeremiah was either lost or mistranslated.

Christ did not go to China and India to study Buddhism. Jehovah/Christ originated ALL scripture but because of man's high minded, haughtiness and disbelief, man alters the original scriptures so it doesn't conflict with currently held beliefs.

As Saul of Tarsus wrote to Timothy,

1 Timothy 4:1-5

  1 ¶ Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

  2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

  3 Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Much  the same as man in other lands, man couldn't be satisfied with the plain, simple and concise truth, the Gospel of Jehovah later called Gospel of Jesus Christ. Man began to give heed to seducing spirits, doctrines of devils.

Today, while Sakyamuni Buddha studied under Bhagava who taught Sakyamuni (Siddhartha) a belief and reverence for God. Sakyamuni (Siddhartha) taught his people tthe same truths.

However, because they had little or no faith and felt that is God existed, He should communicate with the "religious" Buddhist monks. When He did not answer their supplications, Buddhist changed Sakyamuni's (Siddhartha's) teachings into what today Buddhists say if you want to believe in God, that is your right, but God is less important than Buddha. In this case, Buddha represents the enlightenment of Sakyamuni (Siddhartha) or the enlightenment of all mankind.

While Buddhist have altered their religion so it is more practical, Buddhist's belief in the enlightenment of man, parallels a great truth of God which is not an accident of fate! That eternal principle of God is, "The Glory of God is intelligence."

I can see how God's instruction to Sakyamuni (Siddhartha)  about the resurrection of man was practically altered to  a teaching of reincarnation. The resurrection is a sort of reincarnation but being reincarnated to another life on earth, does not require a mystical belief in a God, a non-tangible concept.

I pray every Christian will do as Christ said,

Search the scriptures for in them  every Christian will do as Christ said,

Search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have eternal life!

Then put away the phony, nebulous concept of what a Born-Again Christian is and  become a true Practicing Christian. God loves all mankind, has and is talking to all His children. Study ALL scripture for in them, ye think ye have eternal life and you will if you try to practice the principles God has given to man through His prophets!
