As a true axiom of life, I have found that the person who is very comfortablewith his own identify and has no real interest nor desire to try or besomething else, is the person who can say, "Oh so you're _______ . No bigdeal! I'm not."
I have known this happening to thousands of people and they all havesaid that, "that has ended the matter right then and there." They felttheir sex attraction for the other person, e.g. their libido, hadbeen nipped in the bud!
On the other hand, when a person is violently opposed to what ever,he or she is the one hiding the propensity as a deep dark secret. I haveseen this occur so many times over and over again over the years and evenon these forums that it is no longer a hypothesis, it is a truism.
Show me someone who is violently and/or obnoxiously opposed to homosexualityand I show you someone either trying to change himself or herself frombeing or having homosexual desires or someone is fearing his or her ownunrealized desires might manifest themselves unless he strenuously opposesany and all occurrences! One religion even stresses that it's members dothis to cleanse themselves of any temptation. Such is and has been theimpetus for murder!
However, as I said, "Show me someone who is violently and/or obnoxiouslyopposed to homosexuality and I show you someone either trying to changehimself or herself from being or having homosexual desires or someone isfearing that his or her own unrealized desires might manifest themselvesunless he strenuously opposes any and all occurrences, visible or invisible!"That goes doubly for those who hide their heads in theological polemicson the issue. It's one thing to hold a belief but another to flatly denyincontrovertible proof to the contrary when confronted with the truth!
Fear not! God said he did not create heterosexuals and homosexuals butone man capable of loving and being loved. It is up to you how you useHis gifts!
